Laser pore tightening is quick, painless, highly effective procedure that works by penetrating deep into the skin’s dermal layer to stimulate new collagen formation. The new collagen formation plumps up your skin, which will tighten skin and reduce pore size.

What is the laser pore tightening procedure like?
The laser pore tightening is fast procedure that is not very painful and does not require topical numbing cream. People say the treatment feels like quick rubber band snaps all over the face. The procedure takes about 15-20 minutes.

Will I see results immediately?
After the first treatment, you may feel like your face is a bit tighter, but you won’t see any noticeable difference until after several sessions. It takes about six months for the new collagen to lay down, so you will continue to see improvement in your complexion and pore size for six months after treatment.

Ho w many treatments do I need?
We recommend a series of 6-8 treatments to start with. At the end of your initial treatment phase, you can continue with monthly maintenance treatments, or you can wait until after six months to see if you would like additional improvement.

How often should I get the procedure?
For the best result, you should come regularly every two weeks for 12 to 16 weeks for initial phase of treatment. We recommend maintenance treatments about 4 times a year, or once every 3 months.

Can I go back to work after the procedure?
Yes, you can apply makeup and/or go back to work immediately after the procedure.

Who is a good candidate for laser pore tightening?
The best candidate is someone with aged or photodamaged skin where the pores start to appear larger and more noticeable. Usually patients age 30-50 are good candidates for this procedure. People with large pores from acne may see some improvement as well.

Is there anything special I need to do to take care of my skin after this procedure?
First and foremost, you must wear sunblock after any laser procedure. Sun protection is the best way to prevent any additional damage to your skin. You can take a daily multivitamin to help nourish your skin and promote healthy skin. We also have wonderful facial creams and serums to help your skin repair itself. One of our best products for large pores is called Neocutis, which contains growth hormone to promote collagen growth.

Can I get facials while I’m doing this laser treatment?
Absolutely. Facials are a great way to maintain and take care of your skin. The facial massage helps maintain skin elasticity and works against gravity to help keep your skin looking young and firm.

Can I continue to use my own facial care products?
During the course of treatment, we recommend that you use gentle cleansing products and good sunscreen. We have a full line of products you can use during the course of treatment that will allow us to better manage your treatment. This includes a true, full spectrum sunblock, gentle cleansers and moisturizers. After you are finished treatment, you can use your regular facial care products, however, we strongly suggest that you discuss these with your skincare specialist to ensure they are the right products you need.
